The closest Australia has to a native cat is the marsupial known as a Quoll. Sadly all four varieties of
quoll are threatened with extinction. To learn more about these beautiful creatures and of other Australian creatures in trouble and general wildlife new from down under we were all geared up to check out the Wildlife Protection Association of Australia an organization which was the only charity to have the late Steve Irwin as its patron. However sadly in 2013 the president of the WPAA and our good friend Pat O Brien died after a battle with cancer and the WPAA died with him. Elliots is now proud to associate itself with another fine Australian Wildlife organization, the Australian Wildlife Protection Council and in doing so we maintain our proud links with Australia Zoo
