Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as use of and/or buying from Elliots Pet Warehouse site means you will be bound by them.
1 Waiver
Every effort will be made to ensure that the information contained on this site are correct and up to date. However information may at times become out of date. To the full extent permitted by UK law but subject to the terms and conditions of sale referred to below we disclaim all warranties and representations (whatever implied or expressed) as to accuracy of the information contained within the site.
2 Use of this site.
The content of this site is owned by Elliots Pet Warehouse and you may not copy, reproduce ,modify, distribute, republish, resell, display, post or transmit any part of this site without permission from Elliots Pet Warehouse.
3 Data Protection and Privacy
Any details which you the customer provide to us from which we can identify you are processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
4 Pricing and Products
All prices quoted are in GBP (£)and include VAT at the current rate set by UK government.
Please note in some cases certain products are sold flat packed and will require assembly.
All products purchased are checked and photographed at the point of packing and dispatch in order to prevent fraudulent claims.
5 Stock Availability
We aim to display only items that are in stock and which can be dispatched quickly. From time to time some items may sell out or if we find them to be damaged we will contact you within 48 hours. Should this occur we will give you the option to order an alternative or give a full refund as required by you the customer.
6 Cancellation
Should you change your mind about anything that you have ordered you can cancel the order with no charge to yourself so long as you do so within 30 days of receipt of goods. Refunds will be made within 30 days of us receiving the goods back as sold. Full details of our returns policy can be found on our shipping & returns page.
7 Statutory Rights
The customers contract with Elliots Pet Warehouse does not affect the customers statutory rights.
8 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wale
AMENDMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS AUGUST 2018
This amendment relates to the purchase of gift certificates from Elliots Petwarehouse which are available from time to time.
On May 22, 2009, the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (Credit CARD Act)was signed into law. While the law’s title suggests that it only applies to credit cards, the law also created new consumer protections for gift certificates, store gift cards, and general-use prepaid cards through amendments to the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA). Specifically, section 401 of the Credit CARD Act requires disclosures for gift certificates, store gift cards, or general-use prepaid cards fees and expiration dates; limits dormancy, inactivity, and service fees for these cards and certificates; and establishes a minimum period of five years before the underlying funds for these cards and certificates can expire. In complying with the law all expiry dates of certificates purchased shall be 5 years after purchase, we reserve the right to impose a dormancy fee after a year of inactivity on the certificate but in general we choose to send reminders rather than impose fees.. Once an expiry date has been reached all funds on the certificate become invalid.if a gift certificate is not received after purchase we advise checking junk and spam files, if this is without joy we can only resend the certificate to the email address of the original recipient.
