New kitten time

if you have a new kitten in your home then you will know they have specific needs. They ideally need their own space when arriving in your home for the first time. Setting up a room dedicated to the kitten helps them get used to their new home. Ideally this safe space needs to be maintained for at last least the first few weeks of living with you. 

This confinement helps the kitten adjust to your home as well as aiding with toilet training and prevents accidents elesewhere in the house. The kittenroom ideally should be a quiet area, safe and secure. It should have all the kitten needs. A litter tray,and places to hide such as cardboard boxes or spaces under  furniture where they can feel safe.The kittens bed should be somewhere quiet with a blanket in that has a familiar scent on it. A kitten scratch post should be placed elsewhere in the room where the kitten can easily find it and use it.
